Happy New Year and welcome to the tedi.substack.com weekly newsletter! At the end of each week,1 this newsletter will touch on any number of entertaining, informative, or (possibly) useful topics.
As we move further into 2021, your comments and feedback will also be of immense help in shaping the direction of the newsletter. Till then, I will be utilizing a free flowing format that will incorporate a podcast as well as a combination of book, movie, documentary, or television series recommendations (in future installments).
Thank you in advance for your time and constructive feedback. Read away!
Keep your suggestions coming!
As part of my efforts to release a self-help eBook by the end of August 2021, I was hoping to get the pulse of the public (so to speak) on the topics that they would like me to touch on. The general question is this: If you had an opportunity to talk to a counseling and/or sport psychologist for an hour, what would the session focus on?
The button below will redirect you to the survey.
My buymecoffee.com page is up and running!
Thank you for your time.

Lindol Comics in 2020
While sitting at the Lindol Comics table during the two-day (February 8 and 9) Komiket: The Filipino Komiks and Art Market 2020 event, it never really sunk in that our first convention of the year would also turn out to be our last.
No matter how much I tried to ignore it, there were small signs here and there. For one, alcohol dispensers were situated in almost every other row of tables. We were also discouraged from shaking hands.
My initial thought was, “Just some minor inconveniences. Things will eventually get better.”
Five weeks later, they didn’t. Just progressively worse.
As I look back, I am still happy that we got to have that Megatrade Hall 2 experience in Megamall.
With everything that has been happening in the world, at least that is something I can fondly look back on whenever I think of 2020.
Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, time for some good news.
